Our Approach

Blue Bahia granite from Brazil—with its dramatic deep blue, gold, and black mineral patterns—delivered the visual drama the client wanted while being naturally dense, non-porous when sealed, and UV-stable for outdoor use. We fabricated a curved bar top with a bullnose edge for comfort and safety around the seating area, and sealed the surface with a 15-year penetrating sealer rated for marine environments.

This Palm Beach Gardens waterfront property sits on the Intracoastal Waterway with a private dock and marina views. The homeowner envisioned an outdoor entertaining space that rivaled the best waterfront bars and yacht clubs in Palm Beach County—but in their own backyard. Blue Bahia granite from Brazil was the clear material choice. Its deep oceanic blue base with gold and black mineral crystals creates a surface that looks like it was formed by the same water it overlooks. The curved bar design seats eight guests and includes a bullnose edge for comfortable forearm resting. We worked with a marine-grade sealer rated for 15 years of UV, salt, and pool-chemical exposure. The fabrication required precise radius templating for the curve, and all joints were color-matched to maintain the continuous mineral flow around the bar's arc.
