About — Woman-Led, Family-Owned, BBB A+ Rated
We're a woman-led, family-owned countertop shop that believes your kitchen and bathroom should feel as good as they look — built right, priced honestly, and installed by people who care.
We Started This Business Because We Saw an Industry That Needed to Do Better
Too many homeowners in South Florida get vague quotes, missed install dates, and countertops that don't match what they picked in the showroom. The local market is flooded with middlemen — companies that sell countertops but never touch stone themselves. They broker your job to a subcontractor, who may broker it again. Nobody takes ownership. Meanwhile, you're dealing with salt-air degradation eating at poor-quality sealants, hurricane-season scheduling pressure that pushes your project out for months, condo HOA approval complexities that generic contractors don't understand, and installers who ghost after collecting a deposit. We built Florida Countertop Factory to fix all of that.
As a family-owned, woman-led company, we run this business the way we'd want someone to treat us: honest pricing upfront, real timelines we actually hit, and craftsmanship that holds up years later — not just on install day. Every decision in this company happens same-day because you're talking to the owners, not a regional manager who needs corporate approval. We answer to our clients, not shareholders or a franchise office.
Our fabrication shop is in Pompano Beach, and we operate a direct-from-slab-yard model. That means we hand-select slabs from importers ourselves, inspect them for fissures, pitting, and color inconsistencies before they ever reach our showroom, and cut them in our own facility on our own CNC bridge saw. No outsourcing, no middlemen, no quality gaps between what you selected and what gets installed. When you visit our showroom, you'll see 1,000+ slabs and meet the same people who'll template your kitchen, fabricate your stone, and install it.
What Makes Us Different
We're not the cheapest and we're not trying to be. We compete on trust, responsiveness, and work quality.
Family-Owned, Not Corporate
Claudia and Balázs run every aspect of this business — from slab selection to final walkthrough. You'll talk to decision-makers, not a call center. Need a change order approved? It happens same-day, not through a corporate approval chain. Compare that to the Home Depot or Lowe's model where you sign a contract with a store, a subcontractor you never met shows up, and nobody at the store can actually fix a problem on-site.
Woman-Led Operations
Claudia manages client relationships, project coordination, and the showroom experience. She personally handles showroom selections with clients — which matters more than people realize, because color matching in South Florida's intense natural light is completely different from what you see in catalog photos or under warehouse fluorescents. She sets the standard for communication that our clients consistently praise in reviews.
BBB A+ Accredited
We earned our Better Business Bureau accreditation and A+ rating through transparent business practices and zero unresolved complaints. BBB accreditation isn't automatic — it requires responding to every complaint within 14 days, maintaining transparent billing practices, and honoring advertised commitments. We've maintained that standard since day one. That matters to us.
Your Home, Not Just a Job
We protect your floors, your cabinets, and your walls. In South Florida that means specific precautions: ram board over terrazzo and marble tile, careful routing around pool equipment and lanai doors, covering tropical landscaping along entry paths, and coordinating access through condo freight elevators. We clean up after ourselves and treat your space like it's our own home — because we understand what it means to you.
In-House Everything
Templating, CNC cutting, edge profiling, polishing, and installation — all done by our team in our facility with our bridge saw and waterjet. In-house CNC means we catch fit problems at fabrication, not during install when your kitchen is torn apart. One company, one point of accountability, no finger-pointing.
Same-Day Estimates
Send photos of your space on WhatsApp and get preliminary pricing the same day. No waiting a week for a salesperson to schedule a visit. Our photo-based estimates are accurate to within 10–15% of the final price because we can assess cabinet layout and approximate measurements from good photos. Fast answers, real numbers.

Why Family-Owned Fabricators Outperform the Big Chains
When you buy countertops from a big-box store, you're buying from a retailer that subcontracts the actual work. The store takes your deposit, assigns your job to a local fabricator they've negotiated the lowest rate with, and that fabricator sends whoever is available that week. If something goes wrong — a seam is off, an edge profile doesn't match, a sink cutout is misaligned — the store blames the subcontractor, the subcontractor blames the store's measurements, and you're stuck making phone calls to people who weren't there when the decisions were made.
With an independent, family-owned fabricator, the person who sold you the countertop is the same person accountable for the finished result. There's no subcontractor roulette. The fabricator is the installer. If a problem arises, you know exactly who to call, and they have both the authority and the incentive to make it right immediately — their reputation is their entire business.
Slab selection is where the difference becomes undeniable. Big chains work from small sample chips — a 4×4-inch piece that tells you almost nothing about how a full slab's veining, movement, and color variation will look across an 80-square-foot kitchen. Independent fabricators let you walk the slab yard, pick your actual slab, and mark which section goes where. You see the exact stone that will end up in your home. This isn't a luxury upgrade — it's how countertop selection is supposed to work.
Pricing transparency is another structural advantage. When a big-box store quotes you $65/sq ft installed, that number includes the store's margin, the subcontractor's margin, and whatever premium the volume-purchasing program adds. With a direct fabricator, there's one margin between the raw slab cost and your installed price. That's why independent fabricators can often deliver higher-quality stone at a comparable or lower total cost — fewer layers taking a cut means more of your budget goes into the actual material and craftsmanship.
In South Florida specifically, local experience matters in ways that a national playbook cannot replicate. Condo installations require freight elevator coordination, HOA approval paperwork, and COI certificates — details that corporate scheduling systems aren't built to handle. Hurricane season creates scheduling pressure from June through November that demands flexibility a franchise operation can't offer. And material recommendations for coastal properties — which stones resist salt-air degradation, which sealants hold up in humidity, which edge profiles won't chip when windows are left open during storms — come from years of local installations, not a product database in a corporate office.

How We Work
From first conversation to final walkthrough — clear expectations every step of the way.
Share Your Vision
Call, WhatsApp photos, or fill out a quote form. We respond fast with real pricing — not a runaround. WhatsApp photo estimates work because we can assess your cabinet layout, approximate measurements from angles and reference points, and give you realistic price ranges before scheduling an in-home visit.
Select Your Stone
Visit our Pompano Beach showroom to see 1,000+ slabs in person, or choose from photos we send you. About 70% of showroom visitors end up choosing a different stone than what they originally had in mind — seeing material in person under natural South Florida light reveals veining, undertones, and movement that photos and samples simply cannot convey.
Precision Fabrication
Laser templating, CNC cutting to ±1/16″ tolerances, hand-finished edges. CNC eliminates human error in complex geometries — L-shapes, waterfall edges, and curved bar tops come out precise every time. Every piece is quality-checked before it leaves our shop.
Professional Installation
Our crew installs, reconnects plumbing same-day so you're never without a working sink overnight, disposes of your old countertops, protects floors with ram board during the process, and walks through every detail with you before we leave.

Visit Our Showroom
Our showroom in Pompano Beach has over 1,000 slabs — quartz, granite, marble, quartzite, and porcelain. Bring your cabinet door or a paint swatch for color matching — this makes a bigger difference than most people expect. South Florida's natural light is more intense and warmer than standard showroom lighting, which can make stones look dramatically different once installed. We accommodate this with an outdoor viewing area where you can see your slab under the same light conditions it'll live in. Walk-ins welcome during business hours.
