Our Approach

We selected a Carrara marble with tighter veining—less porous than open-vein varieties—and applied a professional-grade penetrating sealer rated for alcohol and citrus exposure. The eased edge keeps the profile modern while the full-slab backsplash elevates the bar from functional to showcase. An undermount bar sink with a gold faucet was integrated flush with the marble surface.

This Delray Beach wet bar is positioned at the intersection of the home's interior entertaining space and an expansive tropical pool courtyard visible through sliding glass doors. The design intent was to create a bar that felt equally at home serving morning coffee and evening cocktails—refined enough for the interior design language but relaxed enough for the pool-adjacent lifestyle. Carrara marble was the natural choice for its timeless character and the way it bridges formal and casual settings. We selected a tight-vein Carrara with minimal open veining to reduce porosity in a bar environment where wine, citrus, and spirits are in constant use. A professional-grade penetrating sealer rated for hospitality applications provides protection without altering the marble's natural feel. The full-slab backsplash creates a continuous marble plane from countertop to upper cabinets, where glass-front doors display stemware that catches the evening light. The result is a space that has become the home's social hub—where guests gravitate whether the party is inside or poolside.
